I'm writing a compiler from [http://www.khronos.org/collada/ COLLADA] to [http://jogl.dev.java.net JOGL] programs in [http://java.sun.com/docs/books/jls/first_edition/html/index.html Java Programming Language] source code as part of my [http://www.syntelos.com/ Syntelos] project.  I'll work the problem.
I'm not well experienced in 3d graphics.  I'm a server side, looking at [http://jogl.dev.java.net/ jogl] and [[COLLADA|collada]] to solve a problem.  I've done a couple 2d (1d?) widget kits in [http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/awt/ java] (box extends rectangle, animator extends thread).  I have a copy of [http://books.google.com/books?id=A4k29b0BdVMC&printsec=frontcover&dq=Computer+Graphics:+Principles+and+Practice the graphics book], if that counts.

Hello/ Welcome to my COLLADA wiki page.

My name is John. I have some Wikipedia experience, it's a cautionary tale.

I'm not well experienced in 3d graphics. I'm a server side, looking at jogl and collada to solve a problem. I've done a couple 2d (1d?) widget kits in java (box extends rectangle, animator extends thread). I have a copy of the graphics book, if that counts.
