How to post a new FAQ (question and answer)
- Include the question as the subject (title). It's easier for everyone if question formatting is consistent.
- Be concise. Make the question as clear but as short as possible.
- Include the answer as text below the subject/title.
- Be thorough. Provide as much of the answer as you are able to.
- Be specific but concise. Clearly state your answer and include any information that might help to understand the context (for example, a wikilink or a link to an online resource). Please write in a clear and easily understood manner. Keep your answer within the scope of the question as stated.
- Search for existing information. As this wiki grows, it might already contain the answer in another article; you can link to it.
- Provide links when available, such as wikilinks to related articles, or links to the information that you used to find your answer.
- Create a new article and link to it if your answer is more than a paragraph or so in length.
- Sign your answer. Type ~~~~ (four tildes) at the end of your answer, so we know who to follow up with if needed.
- The FAQ page is not a soapbox.
